The Dnipro military groups engaged in a shooting battle with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which also included Poles and Romanians. This was announced on August 26 by a paratrooper with the call sign "Zema".

"My unit faced Poles, the Polish dialect, and Romanians in rifle combat <...>. Yes, there were conversations, the speech was foreign," he told RIA Novosti.
