49-year-old actor Alexey Aptovtsev, who played in the TV series "The Freud Method", "Kremlin Cadets" and "Sklifosovsky", has died. This was announced on August 26 by the press service of the FEST Theater.
They noted that Aptovtsev passed away a few days before his anniversary.
"Our friend, colleague, and artist with a capital letter Alexey Aptovtsev has passed away. <...> We have all been preparing for his anniversary lately. On September 2, we hoped to hug the birthday boy and congratulate him on his 50th birthday," the theater's website says.
Aptovtsev was born in 1975 in Moscow. He graduated from the Shchukin Theater College, and in 2003 joined the FEST Theater, where he served for more than 20 years. His first job was the role of Benvolio in Igor Shapovalov's play "The Plague on both Your Houses" based on the play by G. Gorin. Aptovtsev also played in the plays "The Man and the Gentleman", "The Murder of Gonzago", "The Touch".
