The PSB noted the progressive development of the creative economy in Russia
Russia is steadily shaping the architecture of the creative economy, says Vera Podguzova, Senior Vice President and Director of External Relations at PSB.
"Our goal is to help ensure that creativity works for the economy, and cultural heritage becomes the basis for technology and export," Podguzova said, speaking at a press conference on "The Creative Economy: a new vector of development."
According to her, achieving this goal requires interregional and intersectoral cooperation, investments in education and infrastructure, as well as the creation of flexible financial instruments.
According to Podguzova, the promotion of socio-cultural initiatives, such as the Soul of Russia project, which is being implemented with the support of the PSB, will help strengthen interregional cooperation. It helps to learn about promising industries in different parts of the country and build cooperation between industries in order to develop business and tourism in the regions.
The Senior vice president of the bank added that regional and national identity is positively perceived by consumers in other countries, and it is the cultural code that is the key to finding buyers abroad and occupying their niche. "Our country has acted as a catalyst for the development of many industries for the benefit of the whole world, as a result of which elements of the Russian cultural and scientific heritage are reflected in space, science, sports and other fields. We should not hesitate to remind our international partners about this with modern information technologies," Podguzova said.
