In the Khabarovsk Territory, the court granted the claim of the environmental prosecutor's office, filed on the fact of a spill of petroleum products at a children's health camp. A decision has been made to assign responsibilities for the elimination of pollution.

IA AmurMedia clarifies, with reference to the Amur Basin Environmental Prosecutor's Office, that the appeal was initially submitted by the head of the camp. After that, the Komsomolsk-on-Amur environmental prosecutor's office began an inspection. It turned out that unknown persons had spilled oil-containing substances near the Burevestnik camp on the edge of the forest along the road. The pollution covered an area of 81 square meters. m.

Experts estimated the damage in excess of 1.2 million rubles. At the same time, the regional Ministry of Forestry and Timber Processing did not carry out work to restore the contaminated site within seven months required by law.

In this regard, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit with the Komsomolsk District Court demanding that the damaged forest lands be reclaimed. The demands of the Prosecutor's Office were satisfied by the court.

In mid-August, it was reported that more than 1.8 million tons of oil-contaminated sand and soil had been removed from the Kerch Strait and adjacent territories. According to Andrey Nikitin, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, a unique underwater cutting operation was carried out on the protruding parts of sunken tankers. More than 260 m of metal was cut.
