- Traffic on the new section of the BAMA stage was launched in the Khabarovsk Territory
In the Khabarovsk Territory, the Far Eastern Railway opened traffic on new tracks on the BAMA Chebangda – Bureinsk section. It uses a digital control system.
As the press service of the Far Eastern Railway told IA AmurMedia, during construction, specialists laid 18.9 km of new track and about 180 km of communication lines and electric networks.
The site runs along the Bureya riverbed. In order to protect the tracks from floods, drainage ditches and ditches were built on it, eight culverts were reconstructed, and seven bridges were erected. In total, about 650 thousand cubic meters of soil were processed.
After the work is completed, the biological resources of the rivers adjacent to the railway will be replenished with young chum, sturgeon and Kaluga.
The upgraded stage is located on the Febralsk – Novy Urgal section. The development of infrastructure will increase the carrying capacity towards the ports of the Far East.
In early July, it was reported that the Far Eastern Railway had opened traffic on new tracks on the BAMA Soloni – Dusse-Alin section. It appeared after the completion of the modernization of the Soloni –Nalda crossing and the connection to the Naldy–Dusse-Alin section, which was built in 2024. After the closure of the Naldy crossing, the total length of the connected stretch was 19 km.
