A new tourist destination has appeared near the village of Mogoitui in Transbaikalia. The Khatan Ezhi ethnocultural complex was located there. In it, one of the walls with historical characters was painted by artists from Mongolia.

ChitaMedia news agency clarifies that the ethnocomplex was built thanks to grants from the governor. In 2023, the public organization "Foundal" received them. The Transbaikalia Development Fund provided financing in the amount of about 5 million rubles.

The complex has a "Workshop in the Steppe", where art and craft objects are created. A wall of 22 sq. m. It was painted by Mongolian volunteers. They dedicated their work to the Khatun women queens and the ancestor of the Khorinsky Buryats, Khorida Mergen.

According to Namjilm Erdineev, the author of the project, the artists created the panorama as a sign of friendship between the Buryat and Mongolian peoples. The creative group was led by Balta Batozhargalov, a woodcarver, author of the international plein-air "Drawing on Onona".

Since its opening, the Khatan Ezhi Ethnocultural Park has been visited by about 1.2 thousand tourists from the southern provinces of China, Inner Mongolia, Transbaikalia, Buryatia, Irkutsk and other cities.
