Kravtsov announced the readiness of schools for the beginning of the school year

Schools, colleges, and kindergartens in the Russian Federation are ready for the start of the school year, and educational institutions have already passed the necessary inspections by relevant agencies. This was announced on August 26 by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov at the All-Russian Parent Meeting at the National Center "Russia".

"The education system is ready for the start of the school year. An assessment has been carried out by Rospotrebnadzor, regional ministries, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of all school buildings, kindergartens, and colleges," he said.

According to the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, it is important that the requirements for ensuring the safety of schoolchildren are met.

Children's knowledge: how will additional education develop?

The government plans to allocate social certificates so that children can attend clubs and sections for free.

Earlier, on August 24, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation determined the list of compulsory school subjects, the development of which is necessary for a child to receive basic general education. The 2026/2027 academic year plan will include the following compulsory subjects: "Russian language", "Literature", "Foreign Language", "History", "Social Studies", "Geography", "Mathematics", "Computer Science", "Physics", "Biology", "Chemistry", "Fine Arts", "Music", "Labor (technology)", "Fundamentals of Homeland Security and Defense", as well as "Physical Culture".
