The development of mineralized strips is being completed in the Moscow region

Work on the development of mineralized strips in forests is being completed in the Moscow region. This was announced on Tuesday, August 26, according to the press service of the regional forestry Committee.

Since the beginning of the current 2025, more than 1.6 thousand km of such lanes have been equipped, which is 85% of the annual plan.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, more than 2.2 thousand km of lanes were also cleared. This is almost 60% of the plan.

Earlier in August, it was reported that 260 waste piles have been eliminated in the forests of the Moscow region since the beginning of 2025. The total volume of garbage removed amounted to more than 4.6 thousand cubic meters.
