Canned meat production increased by 21% in Tula region

In the first half of 2025, 59.4 thousand cans of canned meat were produced in the Tula region. Compared to the same period in 2024, production increased by 21.3%.

The Tulastat data includes all canned meat products, including canned baby food. This is reported by TSN24.

Tulastat specialists also noted a 14% increase in the turnover of catering establishments in the region. It amounted to 13.4 billion rubles.

Earlier it was reported that in the first half of 2025, Russia supplied live animals worth more than $73 million to foreign markets. Compared to the same period in 2024, revenue increased by 54%. Cattle exports increased 2.1 times.
