A woman and four children were injured in a collision between a car and a truck on the federal highway Siberia in the Irkutsk region. This was announced on August 26 by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
"On the 1702nd km of the federal highway R-255 Siberia, as a result of a collision between a Peugeot car and a Scania truck, a woman, a passenger in a passenger car and four minors aged two to 11 years were injured," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that the victims were taken to a medical facility. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
On the same day, a six-year-old child was killed in a truck accident in the Askiz district of Khakassia, and two other boys, aged 10 and 12, were injured. According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, a six-year-old boy died at the scene, a 12-year-old teenager suffered a closed craniocerebral injury, concussion and chest contusion, and a 10-year-old passenger suffered an abdominal injury.
