- More than 2 thousand applications have been submitted for the XI All-Russian Award "For Fidelity to Science"
The XI All-Russian Award "For Fidelity to Science" received more than 2,000 applications from 81 regions of Russia. The names of the winners will be announced
at a ceremony to be held on October 24, 2025. The winners will receive a cash reward from the Art, Science and Sport Charitable Foundation or a special prize from the Rosatom State Corporation – a trip on a nuclear icebreaker. In addition, the award winners will be able to attend one of the key events of the Decade of Science and Technology – the V Congress of Young Scientists.
"The receipt of more than two thousand applications demonstrates a significant interest in the award and places a special responsibility on the expert community when evaluating works. We note the high level of projects, their wide geography and variety of formats. This clearly confirms that the popularization of science in Russia has reached a new qualitative level and continues to develop dynamically," said Denis Sekirinsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The participants presented projects in a variety of formats: These include popular science podcasts, documentaries, educational books, interactive workshops, major science festivals, as well as longrides, science shows, TV programs, social media projects, and more.
Applications were received from all over Russia, the largest number came from Moscow and the Moscow region — more than 500 applications. St. Petersburg was also among the leaders in the number of applications, with more than 180 applications, the Tyumen Region - 35, the Novosibirsk Region - 34, the Krasnodar Territory - 32, the Rostov Region - 33, and the Republic of Tatarstan - 27 applications.
The largest number of applications were received in the nomination "Science for children" – 648, "Author of digital content" — 315 applications, "Scientific Press Service of the Year" – 202 applications.
The applications received will be evaluated by the award's Expert Council, which includes journalists who widely cover scientific topics, scientists, representatives of government authorities, private foundations, companies, non-profit organizations, university press services, and research institutes. The Organizing Committee of the award will decide who will become the laureates and diploma holders of the award.
The award is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the partners of the event are the Russian Academy of Sciences, SIC Kurchatov Institute
and Lomonosov Moscow State University.
