The Betting League tournament of the Moscow Region Golf Championship 2025 will be held from August 26 to 29 at one of the most prestigious courses in Russia — Agalarov Golf & Country Club. This year's tournament will feature the reigning Russian champions, masters of sports, national ranking leaders and rising stars of Russian golf. This was announced on August 26 by the press service of the tournament.

It is specified that the prize fund of the tournament will amount to 2.5 million rubles, which will make it one of the most significant events in the Russian golf calendar. The general partner of the tournament is the betting company Liga Stavok.

VTB PRO-AM 2025, organized by VTB Private Banking in cooperation with the Moscow Region Golf Federation, will be held for the first time on August 27 as part of the championship. This will provide an opportunity for the bank's clients to enter the field and play with the strongest golfers in Russia.

In addition, such an event is included in the program of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) Sports Games, which will combine competitions in 14 sports. This year the forum marks its 10th anniversary. The Roscongress Foundation became the organizer of the WEF.

It is noted that the winners of the VTB PRO-AM tournament will receive award diplomas with 5-carat diamond inlay from Alrosa Diamond Exclusive, which is a long-term partner of VTB in offering investment diamonds to large private investors.

From July 20 to 26, 2025, the first ever Russian Team Golf Championship was held at the Forest Hills Golf Course in the Moscow Region. The tournament was organized by the Russian Golf Association with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and a number of partners. Following the results of the competition, the teams of the Moscow region won both the men's and women's team competitions, thus completing the "golden double". 32 teams took part in the competition — 16 men's and women's teams each.

On July 20, Russian golfers defeated the world team at the international tournament "Strong Figures", which was held in the Moscow region. More than 50 professionals and amateurs from 14 countries took part in the competition. It is specified that the match was held in the format of team and individual competitions, each pair of players brought their team points: a win was one, a draw was one point, and a defeat was zero. This year, the Russians once again confirmed their leadership and beat the world team with a big score of 13:6.
