Aeroflot Airlines is forced to adjust the flight schedule by postponing, canceling and merging due to restrictions at airports. This was announced on August 26 by the company's press service.

"Due to the introduction on the morning of August 26 of time restrictions on the departure and arrival of aircraft at a number of airports in central Russia, in Pulkovo (from 4:55 to 7:50 Moscow time), as well as restrictions on the use of airspace in several areas of the Leningrad region, <...> Aeroflot is forced to adjust the schedule by postponing departure time, cancellation, consolidation and execution of some flights on larger aircraft," the message posted on the Telegram channel says.

The airline asked passengers to monitor the information on the online scoreboard, on the Aeroflot website, as well as on airport information boards and announcements over the speakerphone.

In addition, passengers of cancelled flights were offered to rebook tickets for the nearest available flights or issue a refund. It is specified that during the waiting period for departure, customers were provided with service in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations of the Russian Federation and airline standards.

On the same day, temporary work restrictions were introduced at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo and Pskov Airport. Later, restrictive measures at Pskov and Pulkovo airports were lifted. In addition, temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were introduced at Nizhny Novgorod Airport, which were later lifted.
