Air defense systems destroyed eight drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in half an hour over the territory of the Republic of Crimea. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 26.

"On August 26, from 07:00 to 07:30 Moscow time, eight Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty over the territory of the Republic of Crimea," the department's Telegram channel says.

A unit of the Dnepr group of forces has hit more than 20 units of enemy military equipment in a month.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 43 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia on the night of August 26. It was noted that five Ukrainian drones were eliminated over the Volgograd region, two drones each over the Belgorod and Kursk regions, four UAVs over the territory of the Bryansk region, three each over the Orel and Pskov regions.
