Six houses were damaged as a result of a UAV attack on the Rostov region
As a result of a night attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the Rostov region, six private houses were damaged. This was announced on August 26 by the acting governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.
"In the village of Novobessergenevka, Neklinovsky district, windows in six private houses were broken, doors were knocked out, walls and roof were split by fragments," he said in a message on the Telegram channel.
According to Slyusar, a wall and roof were partially destroyed in one of the houses. In addition, a car was damaged as a result of falling UAV debris.
Slyusar noted that the air defense forces repelled attacks on Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Tarasovsky, Kasharsky and Neklinovsky districts of the Rostov region. The municipal commission will record the damage, the acting governor added.
In addition, Slyusar clarified that a fire had occurred at the Novoshakhtinsky oil Products plant due to the UAV attack, and it had already been eliminated.
On the same day, the governor of the Leningrad Region announced that air defense systems had eliminated four unmanned aerial vehicles over the Kingisepp district. According to him, there were no casualties or damage as a result of the incident.
