The average bouquet receipt for Knowledge Day has grown by 9% over the year, analysts estimate. When shopping online, it is slightly higher — 4,6 thousand rubles.

"Parents usually do not skimp on this category, considering the bouquet as a mandatory gift. Today, the purchase of flowers for the beginning of the school year takes place in advance, by the efforts of parent initiative groups of classes," the analysts said.

Most often, parents prefer proven options. As a rule, these are roses, added Veronika Peretyagina, head of the department for attracting and supporting sellers at Flowwow. The compositions are also readily complemented with irises and hydrangeas.

They also choose bouquets of strawberries for the holiday, which cost 3.2 thousand rubles or marshmallows for an average of 2.8 thousand rubles. Florists, according to the expert, are preparing both small bouquets and sets by September 1, which, in addition to flowers, include desserts, gift certificates or tea and coffee sets.
