The Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation has launched an investigation into the conflict between former Interior Ministry officer Roman Kornienko and his wife Natalia. This was reported on August 25 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

It is specified that the ex-policeman fired at his ex-wife's house, and also threatened her. According to Natalia, in this way her husband takes revenge on her for the allegedly unfair division of property.

"The head of the department [Alexander Bastrykin] has requested a report on the situation about the conflict of former spouses in the Krasnodar Territory, which was announced on television," the press service said in a Telegram channel.

In addition, a procedural check was organized by the regional investigative authorities.
