The creation of the Zangezur Corridor will contribute to strengthening cooperation between Ankara, Yerevan and Baku. This was announced on August 25 by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan following a government meeting.

"The implementation of the Zangezur Corridor project will give a new dimension to economic cooperation between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia," APA quoted him as saying.

August 13, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Press (DIP) Russian Foreign Minister Alexei Fadeev stressed that Moscow will study the details of the Trump Road project through the Syunik region of Armenia. Later, on August 15, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk announced Armenia's support for plans to create a transport corridor with Azerbaijan called the Trump Route.

On June 21, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the Zangezur Corridor project would cease to exist in the country, and a "Crossroads of the World" would appear instead. He noted that he sees no reason why representatives of Turkey and Azerbaijan should not travel around Armenia. According to him, the "Crossroads of the World" implies the possibility of transport transit.
