Putin noted the importance of professionals for the Russian industry

The Russian industry and the whole country need highly qualified employees. This was announced on August 25 by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address to the participants of the final of the professional skills championship "Professionals".

"Our industry and the whole country need real craftsmen. That is why each of you has excellent opportunities to find something you like, to fully realize your talents and abilities, and to make a personal contribution to strengthening Russia's industrial and economic potential," the document says on the Kremlin's website.

The President stressed that the championship would help participants decide on their future profession and interest employers. In the final of the tournament, the candidates will have to show their skills in such complex areas as robotics, electronics and unmanned systems, Putin added.

Earlier, on July 14, the head of state said that the number of young people who seek to devote themselves to working professions in the future is growing. Anton Kotyakov, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, in turn, added that at the moment the labor market is focused specifically on the younger generation.
