Moscow region named the busiest roads in early September

Traffic is expected to increase on the roads of the Moscow region in the first working week of September. The number of cars will exceed 3 million per day, and there will be about 100,000 more cars on the roads on weekdays than in August. This was announced on August 25 on the website of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow region.

According to the agency, the busiest days will be September 1, 2 and 5. Rush hour is expected from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., with the largest number of vehicles usually recorded between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Traffic will increase on the central streets of the district centers, as well as on the Volokolamsk, Yaroslavsky, Leningradsky, Shchelkovsky and Entuziastov highways.

In addition, the Ministry of Transport of the Moscow region warned that traffic will be difficult on Rublyovo-Uspensky, Varshavsky, Kaluzhsky, Kashirsky, Mozhaisk, Nosovikhinsky and Pyatnitsky highways, as well as on the M-1 Belarus, M-2 Crimea, M-4 Don and M-9 Baltia.

Earlier that day, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate announced a citywide preventive event on the eve of the new school year. It will be held from August 25 to September 5. The raid is dedicated to the prevention of child traffic injuries and ensuring the safety of young road users.
