The liberation of the Zaporizhia settlement in the Dnipropetrovsk region improved the tactical position of the Russian military and deprived the enemy of a defensive base. This was announced on August 25 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
During the battle for Zaporizhia, more than ten pieces of equipment were destroyed, as well as firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were suppressed, the department noted.
