Eight residents of the Irkutsk region have become victims of fraud in the last three days. The total damage amounted to 5.6 million rubles.

According to the IrkutskMedia news agency, a 31-year-old employee of a medical institution wanted to make money on betting. She had been transferring money to outside accounts for two months. The total damage amounted to 2 million rubles. Last weekend, the victim contacted the police.

An employee of the library was deceived by scammers under the pretext of a "data leak" at school. The woman agreed to transfer about 250 thousand rubles to outside accounts.

In the Kachugsky district, a woman installed an extraneous application on her smartphone, which was disguised as a resource of the highway patrol service. Loans were issued in the name of the woman, 11 thousand rubles were written off from her accounts.

In the Khabarovsk Territory, a 30-year-old woman gave about 500 thousand rubles to fraudsters. The victim agreed to transfer money to third-party accounts, fearing hacking of her personal account on the portal of public services.
