A 16-year-old teenager drowned in Norilsk (Krasnoyarsk Territory). Law enforcement agencies are conducting a check on this fact.

The tragedy occurred on Lake Dolgoye. According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the teenager drowned while swimming. The body of the deceased was found by rescuers.

The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations asks citizens not to violate safety rules and not to swim in prohibited reservoirs.

Last week, two boys aged 12 and 14 drowned while fishing in the Amur River in the Khabarovsk Territory. The children were swept under the water due to the strong current.
