An explosion of flammable liquid vapor occurred on the small tanker Onemen in Chukotka, injuring two people. This was announced on August 25 by the press service of the port of Anadyr in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that after the explosion, a fire started on a small cargo ship. The tanker's captain and a trainee sailor were among the injured. Both were hospitalized in serious condition and are currently in intensive care.

"The tightness of the vessel is not broken, the tanker is being towed to Anadyr. There was no fuel spill," the message says.

Earlier, on June 28, a gas cylinder exploded on a fishing vessel in Primorsky Krai. As a result of the incident, three people were injured. It is specified that the cylinder was intended for household appliances.
