A photojournalist who took to the court during the match between Russian Daniil Medvedev and Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi at the US Open was stripped of his accreditation. This was reported by Sport-Express on August 25.

"A photojournalist who entered the court during the US Open match was stripped of his accreditation," the newspaper quoted journalist Ben Rotenberg as saying.

The incident involving the photographer occurred on August 24. The correspondent ran onto the court in the third set of the first round with the score 6:3, 7:5, 5:4 at the Benjamin Bonzi matchball. At the same time, the Frenchman missed the first serve. At that moment, a photojournalist appeared on the court, who decided that the match was over. Referee Greg Allensworth gave the French athlete the opportunity to interrupt the serve, which displeased Medvedev. The stands supported the Russian.
