A woman died from electric shock in Buryatia

In Buryatia, a woman received an electric shock by touching a metal kiosk. The victim died on the spot from the injury.

According to the UlanMedia news agency, the kiosk was installed in the private sector by the owner of a retail house. The electrician was chosen on the recommendation of friends, he committed violations when connecting electricity. After the trade was closed, the kiosk was used as an outbuilding. Due to a wiring malfunction, current began to flow to the metal elements of the structure.

The incident occurred on August 22. A woman who was walking down the street touched a kiosk and received an electric shock. The Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into the tragedy.

At the end of July in the Sverdlovsk region, a five-year-old child received an electric shock as a result of a power line breakage in strong winds. The boy died on the spot.
