In Primorsky Krai, forecasters announced a storm warning due to the approach of an active cyclone. The total amount of precipitation may approach the monthly norm.

According to the PrimaMedia news agency, the rains will continue in the morning on August 26. More than 50 mm of precipitation may fall in some areas in 12 hours. The total amount of precipitation in two days can be 50-120 mm, which corresponds to 40-100% of the monthly norm.

In coastal areas, the wind speed will be 15-20 m/s. On the rivers of the Sea of Japan basin and the Ussuri River, it is possible to raise the water level to 2 m.

In Vladivostok, where the heaviest rains are expected, a high-alert mode has been introduced. The operational headquarters will coordinate the work of the emergency teams. Local residents are asked to take precautionary measures, in particular, to refrain from using personal transport and traveling outside the village.
