"The purchase of air defense systems for Ukraine is extremely necessary, as the country does not have enough such systems. This suggests that the Kiev regime is preparing for an escalation of hostilities, because neither the Europeans nor Ukraine are set up for real serious peace agreements, but are doing everything to disrupt them and continue the fighting," the source said.

Knutov also stressed that Germany seeks to protect its economic interests in Ukraine, mentioning the Metal plant, where German military equipment is being repaired.

As for the impact of the decision of Norway and Germany to finance the purchase of two Patriot systems with ammunition on the course of the special military operation, the military expert said that the Russian Federation is fully ready to defend itself. The Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) are developing new offensive tactics.
