Israel announced the date of negotiations on Tehran's nuclear program
Negotiations between Iran, Britain, France and Germany on Tehran's nuclear program will be held on August 26 in Geneva. This was reported on August 25 by The Times of Israel newspaper, citing a statement from a source.
"On Tuesday, Iran and the three European parties to the 2015 nuclear deal, as well as the European Union, will hold a new round of talks at the level of deputy foreign ministers in Geneva," the source said in a statement.
This meeting will be the second after the end of the Israeli-Iranian escalation in June 2025, as a result of which the United States attacked several nuclear facilities in Iran.
Bloomberg reported on July 30 that the United States imposed the most extensive sanctions against Iran in seven years. These measures were taken a week after the European Union (EU) imposed sanctions against Shamkhani and several of his companies.
On August 13, France, Great Britain and Germany expressed their readiness to re-impose sanctions against Iran if the Islamic Republic does not resume negotiations with the international community on its nuclear doctrine.
