The Houthis' military capabilities were not affected by the Israeli airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa. On August 25, Khuzam al-Asad, a member of the political bureau of the Ansar Allah movement, told Izvestia.

"The damage was limited to the humanitarian and service sectors, while our military capabilities were not affected," he stressed.

Al-Assad noted that despite the consequences for civilian infrastructure, the Houthis "maintain a firm position and will continue to support Gaza, no matter what the victims."

"By attacking fuel storage facilities and showing clouds of smoke, Israel is trying to create the illusion of victory and raise the morale of its military and settlers after the failures in Gaza," al-Assad added.

The day before, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) repeatedly launched air strikes on Sanaa. As noted by eyewitnesses, there were about seven explosions near the city. A power plant and an oil refining facility were hit. As a result of this attack, four people were killed.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
