The import of passenger cars to Russia through Kyrgyzstan in the first seven months of 2025 decreased by 72% (to 16.4 thousand units), and through Belarus — by 62% (to 15.4 thousand units). Sergey Tselikov, director of the analytical agency Autostat, told about this on August 24 in his Telegram channel.

According to him, new cars mainly arrive in Russia from Kyrgyzstan (94%), while the ratio of new and used cars from Belarus is approximately the same: 54% versus 46%.

The five most popular passenger car brands imported from Kyrgyzstan include Toyota, Geely, BMW, Volkswagen and Kia. And from Belarus — BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Audi and Lexus, said Tselikov.

The analyst noted that Belarus remains the main destination for the import of luxury cars to Russia. So, in seven months 89 Rolls-Royce, 87 Lamborghini, 77 Bentley and 76 Ferrari units were delivered to the Russian Federation through the republic.

On August 22, it was reported that in August, the demand for cars of the Belarusian brand Belgee in Russia increased by 19.7% compared to January – March of this year. The demand for Belgee X50 crossovers (analogous to Geely Coolray) increased by 24%, and for Belgee X70 (Geely Atlas Pro) — by 9.4%. The demand for used models of this brand has increased by 46.3% compared to the beginning of the year.
