This was announced on August 25 by the head of the Kurilsky Municipal District (MO) of the Sakhalin Region Konstantin Istomin in the Telegram channel.

"Hot meals have been organized at the hotel for the rescued tourists. Medical assistance has been provided, the condition is satisfactory," he said.

The loss of a tour group of 10 people was reported on August 24. According to Istomin, the tour group did not get in touch in the area of the Baransky volcano. Later, investigators began checking on the disappearance of the group.

Later it became known that the tour group was not registered. It is assumed that she could have "taken a wrong turn" due to very heavy fog. Later, the Mi-8 helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations went in search of the missing.

The next day, the band members were found. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, medical assistance to tourists is not required.
