The stormtroopers of the Center group of forces liberated the village of Filia

Stormtroopers of the 80th Guards Tank Regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of forces liberated the village of Filia in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage of Russian military personnel working in the special military operation zone on Monday, August 25.

The soldiers of the assault battalion managed to cross the Volchya River and headed for the settlement. During the battle, the attack aircraft were assisted by gunners and operators of FPV drones, who searched for and destroyed hidden firing points and fortifications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

As a result of the active offensive of the Russian units, the enemy began to retreat. When the settlement was completely under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, the flag of Russia was erected over one of the buildings on the central street.

The capture of the city opens the way for Russian troops to Konstantinovka and the Kramatorsk-Slavyanskaya agglomeration.

Earlier, on August 24, it was reported that during the struggle for the village of Filia, the enemy lost up to 420 Ukrainian servicemen, an armored combat vehicle, two artillery pieces, 13 vehicles and a counter-battery station. The Russian Armed Forces destroyed two enemy ammunition depots.
