Lukashenko announced that he had undergone a full medical examination
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko underwent a full medical examination. He stated this on August 24 on the First Information TV channel.
The politician noted that opposition representatives who have left the country sometimes write about the alleged poor health of the Belarusian leader.
"And I see that I have been informed about this, some special services, including friendly ones, are probing, but as for the president's health <...> I don't mind: hand over all the research and let them publish it," Lukashenko said.
He added that for the first time in his life, he underwent a full medical examination for the first time in two days.
Earlier, on August 18, Lukashenko demanded to improve the quality of services in the tourism sector of Belarus. He also added that a level of infrastructure is needed in which Belarusians themselves would choose their country for recreation more often.
