Two passenger cars collided in the Budennovsky district of the Stavropol Territory. As a result of the accident, five people were injured, including a child. This was reported on August 24 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region.
"On the 225th km of the Kochubey -Neftekumsk – Zelenokumsk–Mineralnye Vody highway, the driver of a Lada Granta car, moving from Orlovka in the direction of Budennovsk, for unknown reasons, entered the oncoming traffic lane, where a collision with a Ford Focus car occurred," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is noted that as a result of the incident, five people were hospitalized, including a 15-year-old child. According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, the Lada driver has less than two years of driving experience and was previously held administratively liable for traffic violations. In addition, the people in the cars were not wearing seat belts.
"The detailed circumstances of the incident are being clarified," the Traffic police said.
The day before, in the Saratov region, as a result of a collision between two cars, one person was killed and seven others were injured. It was clarified that the incident occurred on the R-228 highway, near the fork in Bazarny Karabulak. All the injured were hospitalized in a medical facility.
