The former prosecutor of the Lodeynopolsky district of the Leningrad region was taken into custody on charges of accepting a bribe in the amount of 2 million rubles. On August 24, the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation reported on this.
"The former prosecutor of the Lodeynopolsky district of the Leningrad region has been detained on charges of accepting a bribe in the amount of 2 million rubles. The funds were received by the prosecutor on August 21, 2025 in a forest area in the town of Lodeynoye Pole from an intermediary, after which the prosecutor was detained," the department's Telegram channel says.
The collection and consolidation of the evidence base continues in the criminal case, the Investigative Committee added.
On August 22, eight people were detained in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk for a bribe of 4.3 million rubles. It is noted that in the period from July 25, 2021 to March 29, 2025, officials of the transport organization received bribes from commercial organizations and individual entrepreneurs for general patronage and connivance in their service.
