Eight mushroom pickers have disappeared in the forests of Kuzbass, and searches are underway for them. This was announced on August 24 by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kemerovo region in the Telegram channel.

"On August 23 of this year, six local residents, including two men and four women, went into the forest to pick mushrooms from the village of Yasnaya Polyana and have not returned to date," the publication says.

It is specified that 100 people are taking part in the search, including 42 employees of various services, local residents, rescuers and volunteers.

In addition, Kemerovo police officers continue to search for two men who disappeared earlier, who went to the forest for mushrooms in the territories of the Yashkinsky and Novokuznetsk municipal districts.

Earlier, on August 14, a couple with children born in 2012 and 2019 disappeared in the Kobyai district of Yakutia. It was reported that the family left the village of Sebyan-Kyuel in a Ural car and did not reach the designated place. An acquaintance was supposed to meet them at the Nera River, but the man did not wait for anyone.
