The Interior Ministry talked about ways to identify terrorists
The Russian Interior Ministry has prepared recommendations on ways to identify terrorists. This became known on August 24 from the relevant document.
It is noted that, first of all, such signs include clothes that do not correspond to the season. For example, wearing a raincoat or a warm jacket in summer is suspicious.
"Terrorists most often hide bombs under such clothes," the ministry noted.
In case of suspicion, you should report a strangely dressed person to law enforcement officers, and also do not approach a stranger.
You should also pay attention to people carrying large bags and suitcases. Especially, the presence of a large cargo in places not intended for such a purpose may indicate terrorist intentions. For example, at a party or in a movie theater.
The criminal's intent may also reveal unusual behavior: nervousness, looking around, or fright.
"Experts say that a criminal preparing for a terrorist attack usually looks extremely focused, his lips are tightly compressed, or he moves slowly, as if reciting a prayer," RIA Novosti cites the recommendation of the Interior Ministry.
Since the militants may be among civilians at any moment, if a suspicious person is found, it is worthwhile to immediately report to law enforcement officers, the department concluded.
Earlier, on August 14, a plane carrying a militant of the Islamic State (IS, a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) Ruslan Botashev (listed as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation) arrived in Moscow. Botashev was taken to the territory of the Russian Federation to be prosecuted for participating in the activities of a terrorist organization.
