Nine drones were destroyed by the Russian Air Defense and Aerospace Forces in the skies over the Smolensk region. This was announced on Sunday, August 24, by the governor of the region Vasily Anokhin in his Telegram channel.
"Today, our region has once again been attacked by Ukrainian UAVs. During the night, the air defense forces and the Russian Ministry of Defense destroyed nine unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Smolensk Region," the report said.
