The Dutch Freedom Party has proposed the deportation of Ukrainian men
The far-right Freedom Party of the Netherlands has stated that if it wins the election, it intends to deport Ukrainian men of military age. The corresponding provision was prescribed on August 23 in the party's election program.
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine need new people. In this regard, when we come to power, we will send adult Ukrainian men from the Netherlands back to their country," the program says.
The party justifies its initiative by the need to strengthen the Ukrainian army. In addition, the regulation contains proposals to suspend family reunification programs for refugees and expand the powers of the police for foreigners.
Early parliamentary elections in the Netherlands will be held on October 29 after the collapse of the ruling coalition. According to polls, the Freedom Party is now in the lead.
Earlier, on August 19, it was reported about the first citizens of Ukraine deported from the United States. US President Donald Trump announced his intentions to reduce the number of Ukrainian migrants on May 20.
