The first week of November in Russia will be three days long

The first working week of November 2025 will be shortened to just three days. The information follows from the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the postponement of the weekend.

Russians will rest on November 3 and 4, then on November 8 and 9. Only three days will remain working — from November 5 to November 7. In this case, the previous week will be six days.

November 4 is National Unity Day, and the additional day off on November 3 was postponed from Saturday, November 1.

The holidays will coincide with the end of the fall school holidays from October 25 to November 2.
