In the Belgorod region, two people were injured as a result of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) strike on a car. This was announced on August 23 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in the Telegram channel.

"In the area of the village of Krasnaya Yaruga, two people were injured as a result of a drone strike on a passenger car. The man has barotrauma, shrapnel wounds to the head, shoulder, arms and legs, the woman has non—penetrating shrapnel wounds to the head, back, abdomen, arms and legs," he said.
