A master class was held for future directors and screenwriters as part of the Moscow International Film Week. This was reported by a correspondent of Izvestia on August 23.

"It's great that there is such an opportunity to meet with young people during the Moscow International Film Week <...> There was an opportunity to meet with the guys from the Moscow Film School and the guys from the Lugansk Academy of Culture and Arts," said film director and screenwriter Alexander Hunt.

He noted that the profession chosen by the students is difficult. The director stressed that such meetings and workshops are necessary to transfer experience from experienced film industry workers to the younger generation.

The master class was also attended by screenwriter, founder of Bubble Comics publishing house Artyom Gabrelyanov and film producer Mikhail Kitaev.

"It's cool that the guys have such an opportunity to chat, ask questions and hear valuable advice," concluded Hunt.

On August 19, the first documentary film festival "The Russian Geographical Society unites friends" opened at the Moscow film center "October". The event is dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the Russian Geographical Society (RGS).
