In the Leningrad region, structural units went on high alert

Structural divisions of the Leningrad region are going on high alert. The head of the region, Alexander Drozdenko, announced this on August 23 in his Telegram channel.

"I have instructed to switch to a high—alert mode for all structural divisions," the governor wrote.

He also noted that the air defense forces destroyed two drones in Kirishi and Gatchina. There was no damage or casualties as a result of the attacks.

Shortly before that, Drozdenko reported that the air defense forces had destroyed three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Tosnensky district of the Leningrad region.

On the same day, the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, announced that a drone had been suppressed in the Pushkin district of the city.
