Sergunina named the popular routes of the Get to Know Moscow project
During the seven months of 2025, the online guide portal "Discover Moscow" was visited more than 3 million times, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina. The project provides information about the iconic places of the capital and its famous inhabitants from different eras. You can also find author's excursions, quests and much more in it.
"Since the launch of the portal, it has been used more than 26.5 million times. One of the sections contains thematic routes around Moscow. Since the beginning of the year, walks around the Kolomenskoye Museum—Reserve, the Hermitage Garden and Zaryadye Park have been among the most popular," Sergunina said.
Among the popular excursions are "Moscow Modern" and "Stalin's Skyscrapers". Those who chose the first route are offered to see Anna Kekusheva's mansion, which looks like a medieval castle, Olga Korobkova's house with a domed tower and other iconic buildings.
According to the deputy mayor, users of the project often study the history of the capital's buildings, look at archival and modern photographs. Among the leaders in the number of requests are the mansion of businessman Otto List, which appeared at the end of the 19th century, the Evgeny Vakhtangov Theater and the Marina Tsvetaeva House Museum.
Get to Know Moscow is a joint project of the Moscow departments of Information Technology, Culture, Cultural Heritage, Education and Science. The portal is also presented in the format of a mobile application. It contains 300 walking routes, photographs and descriptions of over 3,500 buildings, monuments, historical sites, biographies of famous personalities.
