"Today, on a sacred holiday for the whole country — the day of the defeat of the Nazi-German invaders in the Battle of Kursk — the enemy attacked our region with the help of drones. As a result of the air defense work, debris fell on several streets of Kursk in the north-western microdistrict," the report says.
According to preliminary data, there were no injuries as a result of the incident. Due to falling debris, a parked car near the house caught fire. A window was damaged in one of the apartments.
Earlier, on August 21, Khinstein reported that as a result of the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Sergeyevka, Kursk region, a civilian suffered a mine explosion injury and shrapnel wounds to his legs. According to him, the victim is under the supervision of doctors in the Kursk regional hospital. In addition, Khinstein urged residents of the region to refrain from traveling to the border areas.
