The State Duma pointed to the countries that are obliged to restore Ukraine

The reconstruction of Ukraine after the end of the conflict should be carried out at the expense of Great Britain, France and Germany. This was announced on August 23 by State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet.

"The restoration of post—war Ukraine should take place at the expense of Britain, Germany and France, as the most treacherous beneficiaries and sponsors of the Ukrainian conflict," he told the RIA Novosti news agency.

The deputy stressed that the United States should force European countries to form a fund for the future restoration of Ukrainian territory. According to him, Ukraine suffered "tremendous damage" due to the actions of Britain, France and Germany.

Sheremet also noted that the West is responsible for fueling the Ukrainian conflict.

Former Italian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Michele Geraci told Izvestia on August 16 that Europe had effectively deprived itself of its role as a mediator in resolving the Ukrainian conflict when it sided with Kiev.
