The Russian Foreign Ministry told about the main prize for winning the Intervision

The cash prize for winning the international music competition "Intervision" will amount to 30 million rubles. This was stated by Alexander Alimov, Director of the Department for Multilateral Humanitarian Cooperation and Cultural Relations at the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"The winner of the competition will be awarded the Intervision Cup and a cash prize of 30 million rubles. Such a large sum is an incentive for the participants and an increase in the prestige of the competition," he said in an interview with TASS.

At the same time, he stressed that the prize fund does not imply the division of the first place between two performers with the same results. The jury will determine the best performer according to specially developed criteria that will allow you to unambiguously determine the fate of the first place.

Earlier, on August 22, the organizers of the Intervision contest announced that they had sent invitations to participate in a number of European countries, as well as in the United States. This year, representatives from all continents will be represented at the competition.
