In Moscow, the strongest gymnasts from Russia and Belarus met at the tournament and found out who is the best of the best. Awards were awarded in both individual and team competitions. "Female artists"-juniors and seniors - fought for places on the podium. The athletes are of the highest class, and therefore each exercise is not just a fight, but an incredible duel. Izvestia correspondent Nikolai Ivanov told about the tournament in more detail.

Moments that you want to review endlessly. The Cup of the strongest athletes has already gone down in history.

"This is the first tournament in this format: Russian and Belarusian athletes on the same carpet. The athletes who set the tone in world gymnastics are finding out who is more skilled, more skilled," Ivanov said.

Every detail is important: warming up and warming up, the attitude of the best, the team spirit. And what looks and hairstyles! For medals, there are natural duels. The duel of grace is not only between Russia and Belarus. There is also competition between Russian gymnasts. Sofia Ilteryakova admits that she won the gold, but her rivals were breathing down her back.

"The competition is very strong. Our girls, the girls from Heavenly Grace, and those from Belarus are also very strong, unique girls. Therefore, the struggle is serious," says Ilteryakova.

Apparently, Sofia decided to switch places with the journalists during the course. She does the interview herself.

But Ksenia Savinova, a pupil of Alina Kabayeva's Heavenly Grace Academy, is the best in the exercise with clubs, with a hoop, the second with a ribbon and a ball. And silver in the all-around. This is a furore! The girls from Heavenly Grace were lucky — not only that, but the international association allows them to qualify for the best tournaments. Olympic champion Alina Kabayeva is also always in touch with them. They listened to the instructions and congratulations on the phone. And the next day, Alina Kabayeva came to support the girls personally. Where to go without autographs!

Absolute attention to nuances.

"The Olympic champion gives instructions to Ksenia Savina. Before going to the carpet. Exercises with a ball. The secrets of craftsmanship are priceless," says Ivanov.

And magic words. Ksenia's result is proof that such a motivation system works.

"And Alina Maratovna also supported me, she said very important words for me to pack up and go out. She always told me before going out, work according to the program until you sit on the couch," said Ksenia Savinova, a pupil of Alina Kabayeva's Heavenly Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

"You know, there is no limit to perfection. There's still a lot of work to do. Every tenth, every score, every performance is important," said Evgenia Eliseeva, coach of Alina Kabayeva's Heavenly Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

The tournament level is as competitive as possible. Despite discrimination against our athletes under politically motivated pretexts at international competitions, we are moving forward.

"These are lifelong impressions and experiences, we prioritized these competitions and did our best to endure and prepare for this start," says Irina Leparskaya, head coach of the national rhythmic gymnastics team of Belarus.

To assess the level, you don't need to be a pro: just look at the virtuosity radiated by Karolina Tarasova. Performs a fuete pass.

Passions are no less intense among the seniors. Gymnast from Belarus Alina Gornosko now seems to be at the peak of her form. She didn't leave any chances for her competitors in the all-around.

"You need to keep the bar up all the time, you need to keep your face up all the time. It doesn't matter what happens to you, whatever happens, whatever is going on in your head," Gornosko said.

The groupies from Heavenly Grace also obviously listened attentively to Alina Kabayeva's advice. And they did something incredible. They became the winners in the all-around, the first in the exercise with five hoops, the second with five pairs of clubs.

"Control training helped us. Our entire staff of coaches sat and sued us, told us every little thing," says Alina Proschalykina, a pupil of Alina Kabayeva's Heavenly Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

But the team is very young.

"The girls have already rallied and they have become the favorites of many viewers. And all this together, of course, motivates and supports them. Alina Maratovna also supports us. She also motivates us a lot," said Anna Ustsova, coach of Alina Kabayeva's Heavenly Grace Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

"They have become a united team. They began to feel each other, to support each other. They look like one fist, probably," said Irina Zenovka, choreographer and Honored Coach of Russia.

The tournament in Moscow is on exactly the same days as the World Cup in Brazil. And it is very important that our athletes, who were unfairly excluded from the world championships, could compete with the best. And these are Russia and Belarus.

"Girls need to gain experience. The experience of performing not for myself, but for the national team of the country," said Tatiana Sergayeva, head coach of the Russian national rhythmic gymnastics team.

Not only medals: Belarusian and Russian gymnasts, two teams that included the strongest athletes at the end of the entire tournament, received a special prize from the International Association "Heavenly Grace".

Earlier, on June 19, it was reported that the gymnasts of "Heavenly Grace" won medals at the stage of the Cup of the strongest in Sirius. The best gymnasts from eight countries took part.
