An accomplice to the murder of General Moskalik was detained in the Saratov region.

An accomplice to the murder of Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik, deputy head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, has been detained in the Saratov region. The attacker is involved in transferring data on employees and management of enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of the region to Ukraine. This was announced on August 23 by the FSB's Public Relations Center.

"The Federal Security Service in the Saratov region detained a Russian citizen born in 1976 who was involved in the delivery of an improvised explosive device to the Moscow region on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, as a result of which the deputy chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Moskalik Ya. Ya., was killed on April 25, 2025," the message says. which is cited by TASS.
